Invitation letter from the Harvard - Yenching Institute Visiting Scholars program for 2025-2026

The University of Social Sciences and Humanities, VNU, received an invitation from the Director of the Harvard-Yenching Institute for the Visiting Scholars program. Accordingly, the University is allowed to nominate a maximum of 04 candidates from among the prospective lecturers participating in the program. Details as follows:
1. Quantity:
According to the invitation letter from the Director of the Harvard-Yenching Institute, in the 2025-2026 school year, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities will nominate a total of 04 candidates from among the lecturers to register for the Visiting Scholars program.
2. Research fields:
In keeping with the mission of the Harvard-Yenching Institute, nominated scholars must work in the humanities and social sciences with a cultural focus, and be oriented toward academic rather than applied research. Particular priority is given to scholars whose research focuses on comparison and includes one or more Asian countries.
3. Study program:
The scholarship will provide tuition for candidates at the National University of Singapore, with one year of research/dissertation writing at Harvard University.
4. Application deadline: September 15, 2024
5. Note:
Applicants will submit their applications through the Harvard-Yenching Institute's online application system. Candidates will have to be nominated by the university where they are working.
