11. Tóm tắt các kết quả mới của luận án:
Luận án sử dụng phương pháp nhìn trước công nghệ - Technology foresight đưa ra các kịch bản phát triển công nghệ da - giày của Việt Nam đến năm 2035. Cũng như các khuyến nghị về chiến lược, chính sách phát triển ngành da - giày. Mặc dù phương pháp nhìn trước đã được áp dụng rộng rãi nghiên cứu trong nhiều lĩnh vực khác. Tuy nhiên, trong lĩnh vực da - giày thì đây là công trình nghiên cứu mới nhất ở Việt Nam cũng như trên thế giới.
Tính mới lý thuyết:
- Mặc dù phương pháp “nhìn trước” (foresight) đã được áp dụng rộng rãi nghiên cứu trong nhiều lĩnh vực như: nông nghiệp, hàng không vũ trụ, thủy sản,… Tuy nhiên trong lĩnh vực da - giày thì đây là công trình nghiên cứu mới nhất ở Việt Nam cũng như trên thế giới.
- Luận án sử dụng phương pháp/ kỹ thuật nhìn trước công nghệ (Technology foresight) đưa ra xu hướng phát triển công nghệ của ngành da - giày Việt Nam.
- Phân tích các yếu tố ảnh hưởng đến xu hướng phát triển công nghệ của ngành da - giày Việt Nam.
- Xác định các công nghệ dẫn dắt/ quan trọng và kịch bản cho xu hướng phát triển công nghệ của ngành da - giày Việt Nam đến năm 2035.

- Đề xuất các giải pháp cho doanh nghiệp trong ngành da - giày Việt Nam. Giải pháp phát triển thị trường, giải pháp công nghệ sản xuất xanh, bền vững phù hợp với xu hướng nền kinh tế tuần hoàn.
- Đề xuất giải pháp cho doanh nghiệp tiến tới sản xuất thông minh và nhà máy thông minh trong bối cảnh Công nghiệp 4.0.
12. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn
Kết quả nghiên cứu của luận án có thể:
- Dùng làm tài liệu tham khảo trong quá trình giảng dạy, nghiên cứu về dự báo xu hướng phát triển công nghệ của ngành da - giày Việt Nam nói riêng cũng như dự báo công nghệ nói chung.
- Các khuyến nghị về chiến lược, chính sách phát triển ngành da - giày: Giúp các nhà hoạch định chính sách, các cơ quan nhà nước quản lý hiệu quả, tránh lãng phí nguồn lực của quốc gia; Giúp các doanh nghiệp nắm bắt được các công nghệ dẫn dắt/ quan trọng, để đưa ra quyết định tự đầu tư phát triển công nghệ hay chuyển giao, ứng dụng công nghệ; qua đó, phòng tránh các rủi ro, tăng lợi thế cạnh tranh trên thị trường quốc tế.

Những hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo: triển khai phương pháp nghiên cứu của luận án để dự báo xu hướng phát triển công nghệ ở quy mô lớn, quy mô quốc gia; từ đó có kết quả dự báo và khuyến nghị chính sách, chiến lược cụ thể về phát triển công nghệ cho ngành da - giày Việt Nam; hỗ trợ cho cơ quan quản lý nhà nước, doanh nghiệp và các tổ chức, cá nhân trong phát triển và đầu tư hiệu quả phù hợp với xu hướng của thế giới.

The thesis uses the technology foresight method to propose scenarios for the development of Vietnam's leather and footwear technology until 2035. As well as recommendations on strategies and policies for the development of the leather and footwear industry. Although the foresight method has been widely applied in many other fields. However, in the leather and footwear field, this is the latest research work in Vietnam as well as in the world.
Theoretical novelty:
- Although the "foresight" method has been widely applied in research in many fields such as agriculture, aerospace, aquaculture, etc. However, in the leather - footwear field, this is the latest research project in Vietnam as well as in the world.
- The thesis uses the technology foresight method/technique to present the technology development trend of the Vietnamese leather - footwear industry.
- Analyze the factors affecting the technology development trend of the Vietnamese leather - footwear industry.
- Identify leading/important technologies and scenarios for the technology development trend of the Vietnamese leather and footwear industry to 2035.

- Recommendations on strategies and policies for developing the leather and footwear industry: Help policy makers and state agencies manage effectively, avoid wasting national resources; Help businesses grasp leading/important technologies, so that businesses can make decisions to invest in technology development and transfer and apply technologies; thereby, avoiding risks and increasing competitive advantages in the international market.

Futher research direction, if any: Deploy the research method of the thesis to technology foresight on a large scale, national scale; from there, we have the results of technology foresight and recommend specific policies and strategies on technology development for the Vietnamese leather and footwear industry; support state management agencies, enterprises and organizations and individuals in developing and investing effectively in line with world trends.
