11. Tóm tắt các kết quả mới của luận án:
Nghiên cứu về quan hệ từ phụ thuộc trong tiếng Việt dưới góc nhìn của ngữ pháp chức năng, luận án đã đưa được đặc điểm nhận quan hệ từ phụ thuộc trong tiếng Việt, từ đó, xác lập hệ thống quan hệ từ phụ thuộc trong tiếng Việt gồm 103 quan hệ từ phụ thuộc để làm đối tượng nghiên cứu của luận án. Các vai trò tiêu biểu của quan hệ từ phụ thuộc trong tiếng Việt trên ba bình diện: kết học, nghĩa học, dụng học đã được luận án chỉ ra và mô tả chi tiết. Cụ thể:
Trên bình diện kết học, quan hệ từ phụ thuộc là yếu tố kết nối và biểu thị quan hệ ngữ pháp chính phụ trong cấu tạo cụm từ, câu và văn bản; là yếu tố đánh dấu các chức vụ cú pháp trạng ngữ, đề ngữ, bổ ngữ, định ngữ; có thể đảm nhiệm vai trò liên ngữ - một thành phần biệt lập của câu. Đặc biệt, luận án đã chỉ ra đối với trường hợp câu quan hệ tiếng Việt, quan hệ từ phụ thuộc có thể đảm nhiệm chức vụ vị ngữ - một trong hai thành phần chính của câu.
Trên bình diện nghĩa học, quan hệ từ phụ thuộc có thể đảm nhiệm vai trò vị tố trong các sự tình quan hệ, tham gia tích cực vào việc dẫn nhập và đánh dấu sự hiện diện của các loại tham thể (vai nghĩa). Một quan hệ từ phụ thuộc có thể dẫn nhập, đánh dấu nhiều loại tham thể khác nhau và một loại tham thể có thể được dẫn nhập, đánh dấu bằng nhiều quan hệ từ phụ thuộc. Quan hệ từ phụ thuộc còn là phương tiện thể hiện nghĩa tình thái chủ quan, biểu thị những đánh giá về lượng, đánh giá về chất của người nói đối với sự tình được phản ánh trong câu.
Trên bình diện dụng học, quan hệ từ phụ thuộc đảm nhiệm vai trò kết tử trong lập luận, tích cực tham gia dẫn nhập và kết nối các thành phần lập luận: luận cứ và kết luận trong các dạng lập luận giản đơn, gồm lập luận chỉ có một luận cứ và lập luận có hơn một luận cứ (lập luận đồng hướng, lập luận nghịch hướng). Đối với cấu trúc đề - thuyết, quan hệ từ phụ thuộc là phương tiện đánh dấu chức năng ngữ dụng chủ đề, hậu đề, tham gia vào phần thuyết và kết nối các yếu tố trong phần thuyết.
12. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn:
Luận án có thể sử dụng làm tài liệu tham khảo trong nghiên cứu, đối chiếu nội bộ về quan hệ từ phụ thuộc tiếng Việt, đồng thời góp phần hỗ trợ công tác biên soạn từ điển, sách công cụ. Kết quả nghiên cứu còn cung cấp những gợi dẫn trong việc lĩnh hội và sử dụng quan hệ từ phụ thuộc tiếng Việt linh hoạt, hiệu quả trong tạo lập câu, văn bản và trong giao tiếp.
13. Những hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo:
Vai trò của quan hệ từ phụ thuộc tiếng Việt đối với hành động ngôn ngữ, với cấu trúc thông tin, nghĩa hàm ẩn,... ở bình diện dụng học vẫn chưa được thể hiện trong luận án. Đây có thể là những nghiên cứu tiếp theo về quan hệ từ phụ thuộc trong tương lai.

Nghiên cứu về quan hệ từ phụ thuộc trong tiếng Việt dưới góc nhìn của ngữ pháp chức năng, luận án đã đưa được đặc điểm nhận quan hệ từ phụ thuộc trong tiếng Việt, từ đó, xác lập hệ thống quan hệ từ phụ thuộc trong tiếng Việt gồm 103 quan hệ từ phụ thuộc để làm đối tượng nghiên cứu của luận án. Trên bình diện dụng học, quan hệ từ phụ thuộc đảm nhiệm vai trò kết tử trong lập luận, tích cực tham gia dẫn nhập và kết nối các thành phần lập luận: luận cứ và kết luận trong các dạng lập luận giản đơn, gồm lập luận chỉ có một luận cứ và lập luận có hơn một luận cứ (lập luận đồng hướng, lập luận nghịch hướng). Đối với cấu trúc đề - thuyết, quan hệ từ phụ thuộc là phương tiện đánh dấu chức năng ngữ dụng chủ đề, hậu đề, tham gia vào phần thuyết và kết nối các yếu tố trong phần thuyết.
12. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn:
Luận án có thể sử dụng làm tài liệu tham khảo trong nghiên cứu, đối chiếu nội bộ về quan hệ từ phụ thuộc tiếng Việt, đồng thời góp phần hỗ trợ công tác biên soạn từ điển, sách công cụ. Kết quả nghiên cứu còn cung cấp những gợi dẫn trong việc lĩnh hội và sử dụng quan hệ từ phụ thuộc tiếng Việt linh hoạt, hiệu quả trong tạo lập câu, văn bản và trong giao tiếp.

Research on the dependent relational words in Vietnamese from the perspective of functional grammar, the thesis has outlined the characteristics of getting dependent relational words in Vietnamese, from there, has established the system of dependent relational words in Vietnamese including 103 dependent relational words. This system of dependent relational words is the research object of the thesis. Typical roles of dependent relational words in Vietnamese on three aspects: syntactic, semantics and pragmatics have been presented and described particularly. Namely:
On the aspect of syntactic, the dependent relational words is the factor that connects and denotes secondary main grammatical relations in the structure of phrases, sentences and texts; it is the factor that marks the syntactic positions: adverbial, topical phrase, object, determiner; it can undertake an independent part of the sentence. In particular, the thesis has shown that for the case of Vietnamese relational sentences, the dependent relational words can take on the position of a predicate - one of the two main components of the sentence.
On the aspect of semantics, the dependent relational words can take on a prime role in relationships, actively participate in the introduction and mark the presence of all kinds of arguments (meaning roles). A dependent relational word may introduce and mark many different types of arguments and a type of argument may be introduced and marked by many dependent relational words. The dependent relational words is also a means to express subjective status, indicating assessments of quantity and quality of the speaker for a situation reflected in a sentence.
On the aspect of pragmatic, the dependent relational words take on a collusion role in reasoning, actively participate in introducing and connecting the components of argument: arguments and conclusions in simple form of reasoning, including reasoning with only one argument and reasoning with more than one argument (concurrent reasoning, contradictory reasoning). For the topic and comment structures, the dependent relational words are means of marking pragmatical functions such as Theme, Tail, participating in the comment and connecting elements in the comment.
12. Practical applicability, if any:
The thesis can be used as a reference in research and internal comparison on the dependent relational words in Vietnamese, and at the same time contribute to the compilation of dictionaries and tool books. The research results also provide suggestions for understanding and using the dependent relational words in Vietnamese flexibly and effectively in creating sentences, texts and in communication.
13. Further research direction, if any:
The role of the dependent relational words in Vietnamese for language action, information structure, implicit meaning, ... in pragmatics has not yet been shown in the thesis. These may be the follow-up studies on the dependent relational words in the future.
