Luận văn tập trung nghiên cứu, nhằm:
- Hệ thống hóa một số vấn đề lý luận về báo chí, truyền thông liên quan đến đề tài “Vấn đề giảm nghèo trên báo chí An Giang”.
- Đề xuất các giải pháp cụ thể để các cơ quan báo chí được khảo sát (Báo An Giang, Đài Phát thanh và Truyền hình An Giang) nghiên cứu đổi mới nội dung, phương thức tuyên truyền các lĩnh vực, trong đó có mục tiêu giảm nghèo bền vững.
Đồng thời, đề xuất Tỉnh ủy, UBND tỉnh:
- Góp thêm những đề xuất để tỉnh có thêm dữ liệu nhằm xây dựng chính sách, chỉ đạo điều hành kế hoạch phát triển kinh tế - xã hội.
- Đề xuất tỉnh tăng cường hỗ trợ, đầu tư để báo chí An Giang nâng cao chất lượng tuyên truyền thực hiện mục tiêu giảm nghèo bền vững trong thời gian tới.
- Tiếp tục chỉ đạo các cơ quan báo chí, truyền thông đẩy mạnh công tác tuyên truyền theo nội dung Chương trình mục tiêu Quốc gia giảm nghèo bền vững của Chính phủ, kế hoạch UBND tỉnh giai đoạn 2020 - 2025, nhằm đảm bảo mục tiêu giảm nghèo bền vững.
- Định hướng để báo chí tiếp tục phản ánh tình trạng nghèo và cận nghèo ở An Giang một cách đầy đủ, khách quan; phổ biến kinh nghiệm hay, cách làm hợp lý, những gương điển hình về giảm nghèo thành công.
11. Khả năng ứng dụng trong thực tiễn:
- Luận văn mong muốn sẽ giúp cho báo chí địa phương thấy rõ những ưu điểm, hạn chế trong thực hiện các chuyên trang, chuyên mục liên quan vấn đề giảm nghèo. Qua đó, đề xuất một số giải pháp nhằm nâng cao chất lượng thông tin của các cơ quan báo chí.
- Kết quả nghiên cứu của đề tài còn là nguồn tư liệu tham khảo cho các nhà báo nói chung và truyền thông về xóa đói giảm nghèo trên báo chí nói riêng như Báo An Giang, Đài PT-TH An Giang.
- Kết quả nghiên cứu còn là nguồn tài liệu tham khảo cho các cơ quan, tổ chức xã hội trong hoạt động liên quan xóa đói giảm nghèo.
12. Những hướng nghiên cứu tiếp theo:
Từ kết quả nghiên cứu của đề tài luận văn này kỳ vọng sẽ làm cơ sở để tác giả có thể triển khai những nghiên cứu sâu hơn về các nội dung liên quan tuyên truyền vấn đề xóa đói giảm nghèo trên báo chí An Giang trong thời gian tới.

The study focuses on:
- Systematizing some theoretical issues on journalism and communication related to the topic "Poverty reduction in An Giang press".
- Proposing specific solutions for the surveyed press agencies (An Giang Newspaper, An Giang Radio and Television Station) to research and innovate the content and methods of propaganda in various fields, including: sustainable poverty reduction.
At the same time, it is proposed to the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee:
- Contributing more proposals for the province to have more data to develop policies, direct and administer the socio-economic development plan.
- Proposing the province to strengthen support and investment for An Giang press to improve the quality of propaganda to achieve the goal of sustainable poverty reduction in the coming time.

- The research findings are also a source of reference for journalists in general and the media on poverty reduction in the press in particular, such as An Giang Newspaper, An Giang Radio and Television Station.
- The research findings are also a reference source for agencies and social organizations in activities related to hunger eradication and poverty reduction.

From the findings of this thesis, it is expected to serve as the foundation for the researcher to conduct further studies on the areas related to the propaganda of poverty alleviation in An Giang newspapers in the future.
